God created a land and gave humans minds. The problem is that people’s minds don’t think alike. This is why ego dominates the mind. This ego has awakened the hunger for power and control.
What could be the reason for one country to wage war against another? Or for one group to fight another? If we can understand the answers to these questions, we would be astonished to learn that it is only our weaknesses that turn us into animals. Every battle may lead to the victory of a few, but the greatest defeat is for humanity itself.
Wars are not only fought on borders but also mentally and technically. In recent years, there have been bio wars and media wars as well. We need to understand that humans, in their quest for power, are turning into the demon. In one of the ancient stories, demon Bhasma Sur was granted a boon by God that whoever he placed his hand on would be turned to ashes.
In his arrogance, he started misusing his power and began turning innocent creatures into ashes. Lord Vishnu then came forward to protect everyone by transforming into a beautiful woman named Mohini. Attracted to Mohini, Bhasma Sur started dancing with her. While dancing, Mohini placed her hand on her own head. Seeing this, Bhasma Sur imitated her and placed his hand on his own head, thus turning himself to ashes. This story teaches us that possessing power leads to arrogance. Those who worship power with humility can never be defeated, and such individuals always protect their country and loved ones.
The negative consequences of any war affect not only the people of that country but also nature. Innocent humans and mute animals. It was evident in the Gulf War, the entire sea became polluted, and many birds died.
In this never-ending cycle of revenge, humans are crushed like wheat. The International Court of Law needs to change its role. The directives given by this court are limited; after a war, the guilty country must face official sanctions or measures that result in economic and political penalties.

Why is it that only a few selected countries are peaceful?
How beautiful this world would be if no country ever waged war against another. The money spent on buying weapons, if used for pollution control, education, employment, green earth initiatives, and many other welfare projects, would make this earth even more beautiful than heaven.
