MOVIE PIRACY

Movie Piracy

Good content finds its audience. True, the movie makers should understand this by simplifying the process of making their work public at reasonable prices. Say, a movie is released. Within 3 days, you come to know whether it’s a hit or miss. In both the conditions, it should be available to the audiences digitally at a lower price. This is not happening; hence the movie gets vulnerable to piracy. If there is value to the product and service, you get Buyers. But on the contrary one big question arises, if the pirate start providing you value, what will the creator do? Movie Piracy is currently the biggest headache of the movie makers.

  • Not every content of the movie is worth spending money and watching it in a multiplex.

There is no hard and fast rule to buy something that creators invest hard work, time, and a big budget into. So, viewers think’s, it’s a good idea to see the pirated version of the motion picture. The Thumb rule is, the market always decides the price for your product.

  • Movies these days are remakes . Movies with original content are coming out in less percentages. The psychology of the consumer changes here and can thus they don’t want to spend money on movie tickets. The burden of recovering the budget spent is one of the reasons. Movie studios want to earn maximum returns beyond profit.

The Ongoing Battle Against Piracy
